Ever since OSSA announced they were re-entering the Trials market there has been a huge amount of interest, culminating in the promise of an official presentation of the bike at the World Round this weekend in Foppola, Italy.

Yes, there is a nice, shiny, new truck here and very professional it looks too and yes, there is a bike on show (just the one bike, mind you), but one would have to question just how close to a production model this really is. Word around the paddock is it is virtually identical to the pre-production model displayed at the Milan Show with the exception of the new forks.

What raises suspicions even more is the total refusal of the OSSA personnel present to remove the bike from under the dark, dingy awning it's located in and temporarily place it in natural daylight for the assembled press to take decent quality pictures with the amazing alpine scenery as a backdrop.

No less than three times were we told to come back and the bike would be moved to meet our requests, three times we returned and three times we were met with total refusal. If you were marketing a bike and you were given the offer of extensive, global, free publicity, would you not be more than happy to co-operate with the Media?

We're not in the habit of publishing shoddy, poor-quality photos here on TC and we're not about to make an exception for OSSA, so this is it...

PS. We did try to contact UK OSSA Importer, Nigel Birkett to see if he could help, but only got answering machine.
