James Dabill No1 JSTGGUK Rider was 7th again on Sunday at the San Marino round of the WTC.
I promised you all that he would not be 7th again this weekend so I find myself quite embarrassed writing this!
Anyway, same story as last week really…Dibs was fine in practice and started the event very well. He was actually 4th after eight sections so things were going good. Then the remainder of the lap went bad with four ‘fives’ spoiling his lap. The event was a lot easier than France but Dibs still made too many mistakes and too many costly fives which he needs to work on. Dibs has to be perfect in his riding and sometimes to set off perfect every time takes Dibs too much time to settle so I guess he needs to practice more with the 1 minute rule.
Anyway im sure Dibs and Jack will work on that this week ready for Italy this coming weekend.
The weather was not a big problem because it was a lot cooler than on Friday and Saturday. It was still hot though but nowhere near as exhausting as France last weekend.
Dibs is still a strong 6th in the Championship, 10 points in front of Doug which I know Doug is desperate to get back. The last two rounds look to be a ‘fight’ for these two Yorkshire lads to decide which UK rider is the Best Brit in the 2010 WTC..
Congrats to Adam who was back to himself and had a fine 2nd place. He now has his own fight for second in the Championship overall because he now ties with Fuji with two rounds to go..
Thanks to Jack and isma.
Regards
John Shirt Jnr.
